Quality Manager- Telecom This position is responsible for leading the quality team activities
1) Supervises team responsible for quality system, non-engineering document control, customer returned material, incoming inspection, supplier and customer communication and resolution. Directly responsible for timely and effective issue and completion of product/process deviations and corrective actions. 2) Actively learns assembly and test processes to develop in depth knowledge of operations. 3) Evaluates bills of material, engineering drawings and other documentation, work instructions, and engineering specifications for accuracy and completeness. Submits engineering changes when applicable. 4) Shares responsibility for hosting quality system and product approval agency auditors, with quality systems coordinator. 5) Shares responsibility for submitting product approval changes to agencies, with engineering. 6) Works directly with all employees. 7) Ensures full compliance with quality procedures. 8) Manages budget and human resource needs of the quality department. 9) Possesses a strong work ethic, ability to work well individually and in teams, effective communication and time management skills, and a positive attitude.
